For our customers who would like to deploy a card access system for their business or home, but do not want to have the expense of purchasing a dedicated server or the many different software licenses needed to operate the card access system, the new Benson Systems Control My Doors card access system is the answer.

The new Benson Systems Control My Doors is a true IP solution that meets the demands of open architecture, IP-centric environments, that provides fully distributed intelligence and decision making right to the door, leveraging the IT infrastructure to the maximum extent possible.

How it all works.

Benson Systems will install new cutting-edge IP-based card readers near the doors you wish to have access control on, the locking hardware, required power supplies and the appropriate request to exit devices. The IP-based card reader is then connected via a Cat5 cable to a router on your network.

Through any PC that is connected to the Internet (at your office, home or while on the road) using our Benson Systems Control My Doors Internet based portal, you will be able to communicate with your card access system via the Internet. Once signed in you can manage your company’s card access system by programming schedules, activate/deactivate access control cards and print access control cards to your card printer all via the web!
